The Wolf and the Bear
This fable tells the story of the Great Wolf of Gedrinon and the Great Bear of Andarin who used to meet at a river that separated the Weatherpeaks from the Lowlands every year before winter. One spring the Great Bear woke to find the world had changed: man had settled the Lowlands. The Great Bear let out a roar and from far away he heard the howl of the Great Wolf, the last fury of the two eldar as their worlds shrank into the edges of the world of man.
