Nightcrawlers
Famous adventuring band of recent times, centered around Dol Kalath in Ausgourd, supposedly all died in Darkfold 20 years back.

The Wars of Talon the Golden Queen

This is a snippet from a section about Talon. The image shows her incarnation as Maragul, the Faceless Mother.

Goddess, demi-god, the Black Queen. Her hand has been in conflicts throughout the story of Telrhin, from the discord among the Five Gods through the betrayal of the Kaladri and the Eldring Wars.

Goddess of the broken moon Mashana, the Golden Queen liberating the world from the tyranny of the old order, leaving war and famine in her wake.

More recently the Great Wars raged -- in fits and pieces -- across all the world, her disparate armies under banners from the white snake of Akanhara, the Burning Sky of Simmerahv, the Headless Woman of Maragul, to the black sun of Thar-Emykl.

It all ended with the Battle of Victory Plains, her sword-hand cut from her body. The Severed Queen.

Talon as Betrayer of the Kaladri
As the self-styled Queen of the Kaladri, she led them to settle in Numarha at the end of the Great Dream, their connection to Nalos and the Embers fading as they followed her to the mortal world of Prime.

Talon as Bane of the Sevring Realms
Blamed for stoking the flames of revolt and dissent that brought the great Sevring realm of Andahar to its demise.

Talon as the Liberator: the Golden Queen
Turning people and realms against themselves with the promise of wealth and freedom, a return to a glorious past, unshackled from the chains of the old gods.

Goddess of the Black Moon
Her armies flew the Black Moon banner. Maragul to the Grend, Marashil to the Dremen, worshiped and feared as the goddess incarnate.

Power, Vengeance, or the Chaos of the Unsettled Dream
Does Talon plot to destroy the world, or make it hers to rule? Does she gather the Ignis Stones -- the very hearts of creation -- to master the powers of a world bereft of true gods? Does she wake Serpent Earth to end it with a final war of destruction and unmaking? Will she ride the world into Wake as the inheritor of its might, or pull it back to the Embers as the true Elden Queen?

The Severed Queen
Talon dreams, in a torpored state since her defeat at the end of the Great Wars. Her mind a scheming chaos as she plots her course, still shaping the world to her own ends from deep within the temples of her lost might.
